What a great year it has been in music! Our Spring Concert “Bach to Rock” was a rousing success. Students and teachers performed from various genres of music including classical, baroque, big band, rock, and pop. And how could we forget our military with our band playing three anthems from three branches of the armed forces including the Marines, the Navy, and the Army.  Our teachers sang a Bach cantata and “Chattanooga Choo Choo.”  Our student choir sang songs from Owl City and Lee Greenwood. And many thanks to Ms. Damer for our media display during our concert.

During our Annual Awards breakfast our guests were treated to our ever popular trio Damani, Darrin, and Dylan perform “God Bless America.”. Ms. Heinen’s class sang “The Garden Song” by David Mallet and made famous by Pete Seeger. Mrs. Braen’s class performed “This Land Is Your Land” on hand chimes.

It was certainly a great performance by all the students!
